Award Description of “Bio+” Innovation & Entrepreneurship

A number of Outstanding, Finalist, Gold, Silver, Bronze Medals and 5 other Special Prizes are set up by the conference. Each team can only earn one award in principle.

(Special announcement: Considering the strict entry and exit control measures Chinese mainland has adopted due to the severe global situation of COVID-19, it will be extremely difficult for judges and teams outside mainland China to participate in the conference on-site. Therefore, the award section of the first "Bio+" Innovation & Entrepreneurship will only be opened for teams from Chinese mainland.)

  1. Outstanding and Finalists (a total of 3) would be awarded by the Nobel laureate or Chinese/Foreign academicians or experts of the same level. The prize is 100,000 yuan, which is produced by on-the-spot competition of the projects with the top three total scores. Besides the Outstanding, the other two teams of top three are automatically rated as Finalists, with the prize of 20,000 yuan.
  2. In addition to the Outstanding and Finalists, the top seven teams would be evaluated as the Gold Medals of the competition, with a prize of 10,000 yuan for each team. The remaining teams in the top 11-25 are rated as Silver Medals in the competition, and medals and certificates are awarded by senior experts of the academic committee.
  3. In addition to the Outstanding, Finalists, Gold and Silver Medals, the teams with a total score of more than 60 points in the final would be automatically judged as the Bronze Medals, and the medals and certificates would be awarded by well-known scholars and entrepreneurs.
  4. The competition sets up Special Prizes for the Best Presentation, the Best Innovation, the Best Model, the Most Popularity, and the Most Market Potential. All the Special Prizes are won by the participating teams except the Outstanding, Finalist and the Gold Medals. The medals, certificates and prize money of 1,000 yuan would be awarded by famous scholars and company managers.
  5. The organizing committee keep all rights for the final explanation of the competition.
